Get to HIGHER GROUND!
The idea of the Higher Ground Music Festival, bringing great local music and camping to the masses in a singular and signature event, has been a goal of Colorado Music Buzz Magazine for a few years now. Higher Ground features 40+ bands performing back to back on two stages thru the weekend of August 24th - 26th, so you won’t have to miss a thing.
If you’re a fan of indie rock, Higher Ground is an epic event not to be missed! If you like camping in the Colorado High Country, we have spots available on a limited basis right next to the concert venue. If you like gambling, Central City and Blackhawk have casinos as far as your eye can see! If you like food trucks, we’ll have those too!
A unique part of Higher Ground is the fact that you can camp with the bands! We only have spots for about 300 tents, trailers or RV’s and passes will be sold on a first come first served basis. Many of the bands plan to camp on the festival grounds with each other and with you so if you want to have an extended end of the summer party with your favorite local artists reserve a campsite in advance by emailing cmurphy@coloradomusicbuzz.com.

Our host, Central City, CO, is a short 35 miles west of Denver or south of Boulder. The festival grounds are easy to access right off the Central City Parkway or Highway 119.
